In rural Philippines, the Angelus is still a serious thing. People will usually stop what they are doing when the Angelus bell stating to toll. Basketball events stops, markets are silent for a moment, farmers will stop and face the direction of the church in silent, people walking will stop and make a sign of the cross and pray the Angelus. In the cities, malls and groceries still play the recorded Angelus, but most won't care.

😊 Angelus is one of the important prayers in our life while chanting the prayers God in his divinity and Virgin Mary with the holy angels comes down to those who invoke them for protection I have been praying this when I was young and it helped my situation when once we live in a remote area sorrounded by hostile and violent nieghbors without anyone to turn to.Iturn to God and those cruel neighbors gave up to Thier plans when they move to attack us, they have seen tall well built men dress in White T shirts and blue Jeans coming out from our house every morning, and at night circling our house, but We can't see them, I thank God when the ones who plot evil say sorry and was amazed and told us what they saw they thought it's our relatives until now I kept praying .And never skip the Angelus.❤❤❤
