Looking good out there as always, might want to look into back lapping a few times a year to keep that reel on point throughout the year - obviously you don’t get quite the same wear as a typical course mower but always good to stay on top of it. Keep after it!!

Green is looking good, can’t wait till you are down to .12” and rolling 10 on the stimp.

Greens mower trivia....When the first walk behind greens mower came out in the 1920's how low would it mow?

Ok so the green haze was the original grass growing back. So you split over seeded. Oh going to next video to see results of that. 👊

I really enjoy your channel and have subscribed to it. I live in northern Ohio and I have watched almost all of your videos to date. The green looks great! I have a question though. What weed killer are you using on it? I put in a small green a month ago and it's greening up nice but I have lots of weeds creeping in. I hear that you can't use just any weed killer on bent grass or you could kill it along with the weeds. I appreciate your time.

You should change the direction of your cuts on your green. I know the lines look pretty like that, but your green will grow denser if you cut it every which way. I'm working with bentgrass and there's a huge difference with grass that is always cut in the same direction and our greens that are cut in every direction.

Is there really any need for you to hollow tine the green? It hasn't seen enough foot traffic for compaction to be a real issue and surely on such a new surface the depth of the thatch layer is well within the acceptable range. It's just that I would avoid such an invasive procedure at all costs especially when you're only going to backfill the holes with pure inert sand which will negatively impact the soil biology, which isn't such an issue for you Americans but when you're trying to outcompete poa annua over here in the UK healthy soil biology is the only viable option.
