Brilliant presentation, very concise explanation too. Accessible for the laymen, but also enthusing for the well-versed. This is truly a game-changing discovery.

One thing is often missed confuses people into thinking the choice may just be predetermined, is omitting that spin is chosen along two axes, so e.g. vertical, horizontal or anywhere between but yet the entangled pair is always opposite otherwise this cannot be confirmed to be spooky action if it were just a binary choice- no the info is also the axis of measurement chosen

This years Nodel prize should have been given to the Chinese for their work on TELPORTATION.

Congratulations to the prizewinners!

I would like to repeat the experiment with one detector made of antimatter to see if it makes a difference. If that is too dangerous, then I would like to explore the situation by computer simulation. In a few years it should be possible to put a copy of that simulation, complete with source code, into every household.

What Bell, Clauser, Aspect and Zeilinger have shown is that we need a nonlocal theory to guide the simulation. Provision must be made for information to be able to travel faster than light, but to be useless for superluminal communication. The information is in the nature of a one-time pad rather than a book.

A simple nonlocal hypothesis is easy to construct. There’s more than one way to travel faster than light, and one way is associated with wavelike behaviour, and the other way with particle-like behaviour. The two ways begin by being orthogonal to each other, and we get a new degree of freedom to manipulate. We will need it because the Schroedinger equation is just too accurate and cannot be modified.

I will be interested to hear about other ideas.

So happy the sophons don't exist and that we are able to conduct these kinds of experiments!!!
