I always hesitate with classics. On one side, I know many people want to hear my interpretations of some of the staple video game songs, but it's so intimidating and I hate that feeling of having done a song so long ago, that I'm afraid of being down the line wishing I had done it differently. That being said, with Final Fantasy VII Remake just in a few days, it's hard to argue a better time to tackle one of the greatest battle themes of all time with all the hype I have to play the new remake!

I really tried to make this one different and give it a true battle feel with really big horns and snare ensembles, in a way I thought would serve the intensity the song. Recently I took a dive into Spitfire for new orchestra VSTs and I'm amazed at how good they sound on their own that I was challenged to make them fit with my fairly processed sound. I hope you guys enjoy what I did with it and I hope it sets it apart from the millions of other guitar covers of this song.

I've heard a *lot* of covers and arrangements of this song over the years, and I have *never* heard one quite so perfectly high energy as this one. This really captures the "heroes in a fight for their lives" feel
