Great Series - Character development is excellent and the Setting is breathtakingly beautiful.
One fault with Season 4 - They would have been far more aware and concerned about the Fall of France and Battle of Britain Especially because of Siegfried's experiences of WW I as a horse vet .

As food imports declined during WW II, during rationing, the ministry of agriculture conducted a population count
of all livestock . All forms of agriculture were heavily regulated by the government and War Agricultural Executive Committees had a massive amount of power .
