22At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”

24The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is e to enter the kingdom of God! 25It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

26The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?”

27Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

28Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!”

29“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. 31But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time

32They were on their way up to Jerusalem, with Jesus leading the way, and the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid. Again he took the Twelve aside and told them what was going to happen to him. 33“We are going up to Jerusalem,” he said, “and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, 34who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise.”

35Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him. “Teacher,” they said, “we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”

36“What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

37They replied, “Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your glory.”

38“You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?”

39“We can,” they answered.

Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, 40but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

41When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John. 42Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Jesus was born human right every human is a sinner right but he died for me and you it recorded their is to much it’s recorded am native/Asian my husband died twice he & as soon as he woke he was trying to tell them that were he was going it going to be hot & that Jesus was real & Jesus wasn’t mad at him but he was sad he didn’t know him plus he was seeing those black shadow people the hospital he was in between death and life !!! Only God is good, and God showed us what good truly is through his law, good comes from him, the only one that was able to show that on earth was Jesus, and the only one who was able to keep the law 100% was Jesus, Jesus is the living embodiment of the law, AND God, "I and the father are one". In this chapter the young man was saying that he was good because he kept all the commandments, Jesus saw right through him from the start, and said that he was not good, and that he ignored the first commandment by worshipping money above God. Good does not come from good deeds, good comes from God, from his law. That is what Jesus was saying. He was saying, why do YOU get to call me good, and why are YOU good. Jesus was basically saying that only him, the Holy Spirit, and Yahweh (God) are good, but he didn't boast about it, he led by example.

The Bible has a timeline.

In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is the Word. Jesus is part human, that's why he's able to die on the cross.

When Jesus was walking on the Earth, Jesus is the Son of God. When Jesus goes up, THEY become one.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7)
Notice it says 'the Word', NOT the Son. In heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are one; but what about on Earth? The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us ON EARTH.

Jesus is LORD. Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I Am." He's just saying he was around before Abraham. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus sounds all-powerful, but when Jesus (the Son of God) was walking on the Earth, he sounds like a servant. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
