The setTimeout() function is actually exposed by the browser's window object as as such they aren't necessarily defined in the ECMAScript specification because they're not JavaScript features, they are features of the browser itself. It is part of the window object in the browser, not defined in ECMAScript.

I'm a visual learner and love that you've mind-mapped the concepts in this manner. It makes it so much clearer to see how they are grouped and the sequencing that makes sense for learning them. What software are you using to create the mindmaps? (I also watched your React and Angular Learning Path videos). I would LOVE to see you do something like this showing the "ecosystem" of the field of web development -- what's in front-end vs backend, and the languages/tools used in each!

If this is accurate you have made such a useful video, thank you much!

The feeling of ‘not knowing what you don’t know’, and never knowing the scope of the the language really does make it feel like a mountain you will never summit.

Thank you again - also could you make one for Python?

It is one of the best video that explains what needs be focused on JS and gives broader overview. I would like to add ES6 features in advance section like map, reduce and filter functions which will be useful while learning advance topics . But as usual you are doing great work for the community. Thank you
