Australia records strong jobs growth

Australia has recorded stronger jobs growth than all of the world’s biggest economies in the six months following the federal election, despite inflation and labour shortages.

More than 234,000 Australians have found work in the country in the past six months – an overall 1.7 per cent increase in jobs growth, placing the country far ahead of other G7 economies.

The construction, retail and hospitality sectors have reported the highest increases in employment numbers.

The floodgates were open again and wages are not growing. I have 2 friends with 3 part time jobs each and they do not make enouph money.
Secondly the foreigners with temp working visas increased and statistics can not differentiate between jobs for australians and non-australians.

It's about time everyone on the dole was given a time limit to get a job, or be given a job. I'm so tired of empty shelves and shortages of products, and it's all down to Lack Of Workers to make the products!! This places screaming for workers, why are there any unemployed????

I do not believe this when I see people asking for any work need a job. others are
rushing two and throw to the next shift in another job few hours here and there is not
enough money. Other jobs want you to run your car into the ground for less than
Twenty Five Dollars Hour. If you are a tradie there is a demand if you are jabbed, age
care may take you on, or are the vacancies popping up because the jabbed are still getting sick .?
