This actually makes a lot of sense. Most of Black Mirror are horror stories about the darkness lying in the future of happy things we have now. So to take a dark NIN song and rework it in a happy pop way to mirror that story is pretty smart

This style of music just suits Miley's voice so well. Honestly, the moment the concert scene started playing I was blown away by how well this cover was executed. While I appreciate the parallels between the pop parody of the NIN song this version is wayyyy better.
