To me the whole point of Anna’s character as the protagonist is to show that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Like in the first 2 movies, Anna saved arendele without any powers. She is already so powerful without them and it just wouldn’t make sense why they would give them to her. That’s why I admired Anna so much as a kid

I agree that having Anna get magic could ruin the overall Frozen plot. But Anna's first-born child could potentially have an Elemental Power because Anna took an active role in destroying the dam built by Runeard in the past.

I feel like it would ruin it regardless of that. Anna doesn’t need powers. It’s already pointed out. In Frozen 2 Elsa says “I have my powers to protect me, you don’t.” To which Anna replies that she climbed a whole mountain and survived a frozen heart and saved Anna from Hans and she didn’t need powers for any of those things. She didn’t need powers to escape the cave, or to force herself to do what had to be done and keep going even after she lost Elsa, or to break the dam. She’s strong without her powers because of who she is. Her love and determination is her greatest power

Well all of that was because of how the story of frozen two turned out, imagine if frozen two was rewritten. Instead of the whole enchanted forest plot, it was about Anna unlocking fire powers and Elsa trying to help her.
