I Created A HUGE Nest for my Leafcutter Ants!!!

Last summer I spent an entire week trying to catch an Atta mexicana queen, and finally her colony is ready for an upgrade! I'll be creating a massive nest and foraging area to allow this colony of leafcutter ants to continue growing into.

Atta mexicana seems like a cool Atta species to keep. Here in Germany we can usually just buy 3 Atta species: Atta cephalotes, Atta sexdens, Atta laevigata. The rest is super rare to get. Acromyrmex octospinosus is very common though.
