I honestly can't say if there is a "god" or not. Yes, I deliberately put "god" in quotation marks and in lower case.

Whenever you look at a beautiful paint somewhere, first question comes to your mind.. you never ask the brush type, but you ask WHO painted this? The painter or the artist who did the artwork.
So, think about this simple example and you will get the answer about the connection between the creation and the creator.
And second, the Nature crisis comes when we commit bad deeds towards it. It's Karmic cycle if you want to name it that way.

And one more thing,
Along with being all powerful and all good, Jesus chose to limit his power by giving us a free will - choice of our own. It depends on us, if we use it for the right cause, I guarantee that suffering will be gone, but now it's too late.

God is not all good, he or she is Dharma, and Dharma is your Karma. You reap the Karma you sowed, and God makes sure it is that way

If he wants to understand God he has to approach God with a desire to know Him ...not science and experiments. Then he will realise that our sins are the cause of th unwanted consequences

Matter transformers, energy shifts, consciousness evolve. I wouldn't look for answers about the devine spirt from a scientist who turst equipment as a measuring tool and the ultimate way to realise and come up with an answer.
So he does what he can do best, question thats okey. But hes also attaching his mind-set as the truth. That is too egoistic for my taste

To answer the view of sir Neil,
I would say that Jesus is All powerful and All good. But the human disasters he mentioned is the result of sin.
God didn't create us so that we should suffer, he wanted us to live eternally happy. All these suffering are a result of sin and our negligence towards God in the past.
That's why Jesus Christ had to come in human form, die for our sins and conquered death, so that we might reunite with HIM again. It's the time for us to repent of our sins, leaving all our ego aside and receive him as our LORD, God and Savior.
