My biggest contributing factor for me looking tired is being really tired from work and not sleeping enough. Who knew.

Did someone tell you that you look like lady gaga without make up? ❤

My 2 cents: One of the best things I ever did was work at Clinique as a consultant/counter person. They taught us so much about skin care and how to protect our skin from the sun and to ALWAYS wear sunscreen esp on face, neck and hands. All these years later, I am still following their advice...and no age spots on my hands!🙂

No, my dear, no. Loosing the shape of your face and becoming another different person with different features that you don' t recognize as yourself is the most impactful factor of aging. You can cover pigmentation but you cannot reshape sagging lids, eye bags, malar mounds, jowls or turkey neck.

In my opinion, it's usually the eyes that have an impact when it comes to the first signs of aging (for me at least). Puffiness, under-eye bags, dark circles, crows feet, droopy lids, etc. really add years to the face. Concealer and some good eye makeup does help, but yeah if I was to get any work done at some point, I would personally start with the eye area!

I'm knocking on 45 and my biggest regret is not using sunblock on my face ALL.THE.TIME. I was 40 before I really started a stealthy skincare routine. Do not make the same mistakes! Wear sunscreen 😊

All I have to see is Dr. Idriss without makeup, and I’ll listen to anything this woman says 🙌🏻

Tbh I think sagging and loss of volume are the biggest signs of aging. Aging is so much more than perfect spotless wrinkle free skin, dr Idriss is beautiful and has amazing skin, but imo she looks her age (and there is nothing wrong with that!)

I’ve been using tret and azaleic acid since I was 30. I’ve used it religiously. Although my skin texture 10000% improved, my pigmentation never has.. & yes, I drown in sunscreen. I’ve been thinking that maybe now, at best, would be in office procedures (I’m 35 now)!!

There is not a single dermatologist that has relied on skincare alone I have ever met. All the benefits of being at practice like that come with benefits.
Micro needling, chemical peels, fraxels, scar revisions, using fillers for deep scars and lasering them of, the biggest one is botulism forms such as botox. I am not sure if she has done any of that. But I have tried a multitude of things for acne scarring, I can personally tell you, your skin care routine will change with age.
Your skin care goals are always going to depend on your diet mixed with your products.
One of the best decisions I made was using math vs 90% of products on the market not doing anything.
You see alcohol or glycerin in your face wash throw it out if its the 1st ingredient.
Getting Botox & Chemicals and then doing a skincare routine will reverse so much. You dont need to continue to do unless you want to.
I use ordinary serums & Clinique acne foam wash. BHA Peeling Solution, B12, Vitamin C.
Differen moisturizer with sunscreen.
They all do different things. Use micellar water to remove makeup.
Under eye creams scam.
When I actually read the products and became more medically inclined about the dermis. I can tell you so much.
But buying expensive skincare doesn’t equal better skincare.
Your skin can only absorb so much.
Then when it comes to your diet it shows in your skin.
If you have bad genetics its alot more work to maintain your skin as well.
One thing I do not like about her videos im 40 basically. Well thats a high standard of beauty to achieve. Because it is not just skincare.

Anyone watching this who wants to look as good as possible for as long as possible: don't remove your makeup like the good doctor does here. Gently hold pads with makeup remover against your closed eyelids & let the product soak your makeup off: no friction or rubbing required. The less pulling & tugging you do to your face, especially the eye area, the better.

I've seriously never had good skin. Either I've suffered with acne, hormonal acne, scaring etc, now that I rarely break out, I've got super sensitive skin and rosacea. I didn't have it before, tried a new makeup 3 years ago and have not been able to get rid of the redness. It's definitely frustrating. But you have beautiful skin.

Your advice about putting down moisturizer before retinol has been game changing for me! Thank you!!

Skin care products are nice but healthy nutrition and sleep is more important. I’d say those are more important than any creams of serums you put on your face… ❤

Can you do a skin care for pregnancy video? They tell you not to use stuff like salicylic acid and retinoid creams. I have noticed that I get sunburn more easily even when using sunscreen now that I'm pregnant. Please help!

Best thing in life is to embrace that we age and there's beauty in that 👌

As a derm, why are you rubbing your eyes like that? This skin is so thin and personally, under the eye I go from outside to inside to reduce the chance of wrinkling that skin.
