Vostok Amphibia Dial and Hands Swap

Today's project is to swap out the dial and hands on this awesome Vostok Amphibia dive watch. Not only do these upgrades look amazing, but while performing this service, I learn a few things about this famous Russian diver. Good thing with the Vostok 2416, uses the same hand standard as the Miyota 8215/DG2813 opening up to just about any hand design out there.

Great video. I had a few of the glow in the dark dots fall off my face and are now missing. So I needed to know how to get in there and pull the crown and movement to find those little suckers. Thanks.

Hi. I think that due to the russian invasion it is quite difficult to find the original Vostok dials (Meranom, Vostok site, etc.) Do you know where to get them? Thank you!

Oh my God where did you get that dial? I was looking for a green dial but always wanted to find one with a white scuba dude, exactly how yours looks like!

The replacement dial is commonly referred to as "The Scuba Dude" and is probably the most popular dial.

How did you get the second hand to stop on a Vostok. How do you align the second hand ?

Oh come on.. hands are the real worry in this, thats the main reason to watch this video and its missing.
