I don’t understand trends .. women are rocking 36 and 40mm Rolex watches .. go Ladies! there is absolutely nothing “big” about 44mm for a dude .. this watch is awesome on a rubberb strap .. this is the ultimate Rolex dive watch and a more significant piece of engineering than a Batman, Kermit, etc.

I got this watch for my 55th birthday this year from my AD...stunning piece !! I have 8.2 inch wrists so it looks normal on me :-) for me its not the monster people say it is :-) Great video :-)

The watch on the arm of the vessel was a prototype called the “Deepsea Challenge.” It was 30 mm thick with a very thick crystal and was rated to 12000 m, and very few were made.

I believe the watch James Cameron was wearing was a standard Sea Dweller and the other watch is the actual Deep Sea, however I’ve heard that even that watch was in fact a prototype made by Rolex for the actual dive. A little bigger than the Deep Sea made for the general public.

I tried one on, I am not a small guy, and this watch looks ridiculous - it looks too big in video but hoooly wait until you put it against your wrist.

can someone find out if the the green letter "DEEP SEA" are painted green from the exact green batch of paint they used on the submarine. Because that would be AMAZING. or is it just a close color combination
