Yes, it is true. With growing buyer demands and multiple and concurrent requests, a highly scalable technology - NodeJS, with its event non-blocking I/O model is definitely a better choice. However, in the current market, there are many eCommerce solutions in PHP and pretty less number of solutions on NodeJS.
