Stem cell therapy: Great scam or a miraculous treatment

In recent times, there has been a rise in the popularity of stem cell tourism worldwide, with individuals traveling to foreign destinations to avail themselves of such treatments at a significant cost. However, many people remain skeptical about the effectiveness and safety of these treatments. I had 3 orthopedic surgeons say I had to get a knee replaced. I went to Huntsville had stem cells taken from my hip put into my knee. Way past 50 yrs old. Well it was 4 yrs ago yup I walk miles a week pain free. 5000 bucks out of pocket worth every penny.

If I could afford it, I would go to Mexico for stem cell treatment for a warn meniscus. I have heard nothing about adverse reactions until watching this video so I will have to do more research. The problem with Allopathic medicine in the US is money. There are whole industries built around knee and hip replacements. If stem cells work and could be developed further, it would threaten the bottom line of these entrenched industries. I believe that is why stem cell therapy is suppressed. I see the same situation happening to vitamin and health supplement treatments. We have all heard about cures for cancer that were viciously suppressed because they were and are a threat to the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

Have not yet watched the video, but posting my own experience. Stem cell therapy DOES WORK. And it works well. My wife and I have both had a single 2cc shot. General bloodstream. About two weeks after the shot I felt MUCH more flexible especially in my back. My basil thumb arthritis pain disappeared. In general just felt better. I also noticed getting out of bed in the AM was far more pleasant. We did the shot more for regenerative maintenance than addressing a specific issue. We both experienced improvement for around 9mos to a year. Saving up for our next shot ASAP. We believe that the benefits that we cannot feel are also there and they are the real benefit. Time will tell.

There is a web page on the University of Washington's Institute for Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine that discusses the problems with various stem cell procedures. While they can't recommend anything, they can and do tell what DOESN'T work. Hence, before you go to Mexico, make sure their therapy is NOT one that doesn't work.

I had a stem cell transplant for leukemia in Ontario last year.

The clinic that helped me was also looking into see what Stem Cells can do for MS patients. Unfortunately i wasnt able to look further into. Thhis was a lab supported by the Canadian gov and not a for profit outfit.
