whoever is seeing this video please read this what he says in the channel absolutely works after following his instruction, we will never experience lag in the game but whenever you guys do such a thing please at leat browse on the internet about what change is gonna happen if you enable or disable something. I am telling you this because as he said I did everything and my lag was fixed. The next day my network symbol dissappeared from my taskbar and I was not able to connect to the internet so I went to goolge searched for everything and it didnt work then I remebered that i had done something to get rid of my lag. I suddenly restored my settings that i changed after watching this as before and everything was fixed so friends please take care of what you do as this is a machine if i command goes wrong whole system might be damaged forever

The best way to remove lag is start your task manager.
Find you GTAIV process and right click > Set prorit and 1 level higher

for all yall saying its still lagging in his video it's because he is using Fraps it drastically reduces your frame rates when recording

DONT DO THIS ON WINDOWS 10! It disabled my cotanta/search, turned off my twitter notifications, told me I had limited/no internet, and rendered both of my graphics cards laggy. Just a fair warning.

also for any of you who are having this lag issue. the game is optimized for a quad core CPU. so if you are using a dual core like me. i5-6200u... it wont run as good. id recommend downloading the patch for the game but that's about it

It's a really crappy port, it's not your computer's fault, it's R* fault!!!

Second: Be sure to turn !ON! Windows Event Log & Event Collector services, because if you don't, you'll get some really pain in the ass Windows and other program errors!!! For example some programs can't start, some others won't install!

I have downloaded GTA IV yesterday, and my specs are recommended for the game. And the auto graphic settings was high and when i was playing it was 11-22 Fps idk why. I turned the graphics to low and it still lags.
