Thing is nikos story was so perfect that to make niko come back would ruin everything. He was to this day the most complex character in all of the gta’s. Him finally finding peace in himself after so much violence was the best way to leave the character. I wish and hope that one day they remaster it because it was a fantastic game.

In GTA V you can find:

Karen Daniels (undercover as Michelle while "dating" Niko. Later worked with the protagonist online, and can be found interogating Mr. K in the IAA building)

ULP (Used Niko to do work for him. Later appears durring the shoot-out with Dave, Micheal, Steve, IAA, FIB, and Merryweather. Later appeared in online doing work with the protagonist.)

Brucie (Friend of the Bellic family. Can be heard on the radio. Also appears in multiple parts of online, usually indirectly associated with the protagonist.)

Malc: (Apparently he was from Lost and Damned. Idk, didn't play it)

Tony: (Character from Ballad of Gay Tony. Appears in the protagonist's Nightclub in online.)

Lazlow (Originally appeared on the radio in GTA IV. Could also be called via the ZIT hotline, and he would tell you what song was on the radio. Later appeared as a major character on TV in GTA V, and was often antagonized by Michel due to his daugters involvement with his show. Lazlow also appeared in online alongside Tony in the Nightclub)

Packie (Robbed the Bank of Liberty with Niko, among other things in GTA IV. Later appeared as a Heist member in GTA V and Online.)

Marnie (a random encounter character with Niko who later appears in the Kifflom storyline with Micheal. Also makes an appearance with Franklin and Lamar in Online.)

Johnny (protagonist from GTA the Lost and Damned. Got beaten to death by Trevor in GTA V)


Its also worth mentioning that a few characters are related to Red Dead Redemption II:

El Rubio (Photo's in his office, as well as some of his commentary about his ancestry heavily suggest that his great grandfather was a member of the German family that was saved by Arthur Morgan in RDR2.)

Decendent of Kraff (Francis Sinclair from RDRII was a possible time traveler the Arthur interacts with who matches the features depicted online by the Epsilon Program.)
