Cyberchase we're movin'! Cyberchase was the go-to show for those of us who grew up with public access TV, but is it as mathematical as we all remember? Join me to find out!

(Apologies for the inconsistencies with aspect ratios for the various episodes showcased here, I only wanted to use what is available on Youtube because I was afraid that if I used videos from elsewhere on the internet, that PBS might hit me with a copyright strike).

All clips and audio used subject to fair use for education, commentary, parody, and analysis.

I also read old stories with my brother on our podcast!:

god this show is so nostalgic. the hacker was actually a very scary villain for kids. there was this one two part episode where he actually won! and for an educational show there's a surprising about of lore. like hacker has a full backstory and relationship with slider's dad that kept getting development with each progressing season. it was freaking awesome. i wish more people talked about this show.

the episode that you couldn't watch from radopolis was especially good. rewatching it as an adult hacker is especially creepy. he makes a deal with the kids that if he wins he'll "get inez"? as a kid i thought that was a bit scary, but as an adult?! jesus CHRIST how was that not censored. that's terrifying.

I'm 14, and up until 7th grade I was the best at math and really good at the other subjects all thanks to Cyberchase and PBS Kids. Who knew not having cable would be so helpful?

Buzz is the one that likes donuts. Delete is the lighthearted one that likes bunnies.

The show is on it's final season. I'm just waiting for someone to do a video essay on the "deep" lore of the series and briefly tells us about the whole story from start to finish. 😂

I swear I used to think that in one episode we would find out that Hacker was actually the hero and Motherboard was the virus all along and Hacker has been trying to take back his place and Digit actually used to be Hackers companion but he had his mind erased by Motherboard so he wouldn’t remember his past with Hacker but idk i just thought that would be cool

Well, kids could still be watching the show if their parents install PBS Kids on their tablets. After all, the show just started its 12th season this year.

This, Zoom, and Arthur were three of my favorite PBS shows as a kid, I loved watching them every day after school, I used to try and get my homework done as quickly as possible so I wouldn't miss any of them

In 2002 I was 14 and visited Canada. There was cable TV with whole bunch of cool cartoons I never heard of: Cyberchase, Sagwa, Arthur, Clifford TBRD. I am almost 33 now but memories are still alive and make me fill warm. Thank you for reminding, it was a plesant nostalgia moment.
