Eating McDonald’s is very far away from eating healthy, so having McDonald’s every day is very surprising. McDonald’s is though healthier in most other countries outside the US because US regulations are lacking.

One thing that is not taken into consideration is that when Warren Buffett made his money, life & expectations were different. I don’t believe he eats in Mc D every day. If he does that’s just sad. While most of what is said is good advice, another thing that should be remembered is “money begets money”. When broke you do not get the same opportunities as when you have money. A base example is buying a new cooker outright as opposed to paying for it through a loan over time paying interest. You may even be able to negotiate a bonus of a new set of pans &/or a discount. So you are richer by not paying interest & you get a discount or bonus gift & sometimes insurance thrown in! I made it a point that I wouldn’t buy anything unless I could pay outright barring my mortgage. It paid off. That really stands you in good stead. You may have to put up with something that has had it’s day but you can’t afford to replace it for a while but you don’t risk losing everything as debt creeps up.
