I think the big issue comes from watch enthusiasts and collectors that EXCLUSIVELY enjoy mechanical watches. They think quartz is cheap and tacky and they rly are a stain in the community... High quality quartz is enjoyed by many, whether its a G-shock, bulova precisionist or certina precidrive, all are fantastic..

Great list. Excited to see Laco and Yema that most don’t discuss or just ignore. They are wonderful watches for the prices with genuine history and pedigree.

Just getting into watches again, inherited my dad's Timex and it started my love for affordable, well built, and good looking watches

After watching this video I immediately purchased a Yema Rallygraf panda on the leather strap and I have to say that it’s absolutely beautiful. I love the retro racing vibe, that there’s no seconds hand, that the white dial has a creamy patina, that the subdials are recessed underneath the main dial, that the lume is blue, and that it’s visually so well balanced. My Rallygraf is getting more wrist time than my Black Bay or my Monaco. It’s definitely a keeper.

The Boluva Lunar Pilot 43 in blue is gorgeous.

if you sail the sea, go with Casio. I own two Tissot, identical, chronometers one in black face one in white face, bought them I Geneva when I could afford more expensive watches but the Tissot do it for me, elegance and reliability. Glad to see them mentioned in your collection.

Couldn't agree more with this list, because it basically reflects half of my collection! I own the Casio CA-53, a metal "Casioak" (GM-2100), the Bulova Lunar Pilot, the Tissot PRX and a watch with Seiko's new NH34 GMT movement in it (OceanX Sharkmaster GMT).

Love the selection of watches you chose. I also learned a lot especially the Moon Watch alternative

I can appreciate most watches and I don’t really understand how someone can be snobby about a watch someone else wears and enjoys. I couldn’t care less if it’s quartz, auto, manual or powered by plutonium, just enjoy it.

Love the casio CA-53, everyone should have one! The Citizen Garison looks like a great pilot watch, eco drive and titanium, spot on! Im so glad Bulova have released a smaller Lunar pilot, its a fantastic looking watch and I'll definitely consider the 43mm version. Great list Kieron, love em all!! Cheers 👍

Lovely to see Citizen get featured prominently. They don't get their due credit even by affordable watch focused YouTubers. But they've brought so much incredible evolution to watch technology. And I think they make some lovely designs. My only complaint is that they often don't do sapphire crystals even on watches costing $400. At that price point, I don't think it's quite right. Even so, excellent brand. Their Hyperion line in India has some real stunners.

My brother owns numerous Rolex, Brietling & Tiffany watches, but when he saw my Tissot PRX blue, he went straight out & bought one.
It's most certainly the best budget dress watch out there... by far!

Hey!! You didnt include the AU Sugess Seagull! No collection should be without one. I particularly love the dramatic black and white version.

I've got this watch the snobs may like. It is a swiss watch and I bought it in '98. It was priced at $2K but I found it gray market for $1K. It's a Revue Thommen Airspeed Automatic. But this was the last of the Lemamia 5100 movements, now they come with the ETA 7750 movement. Plus it also has a titanium case and bracelet. You can't it with the titanium case and bracelet any more.

I know very little about gents dress watches (although i have a very nice Seiko Coutura). I watched this youtube of yours and it really opened my eyes to some of your recommendations. I fell in love with the Yema, Squale and Bulova....I now have a Yema Rallygraf in the post for my Son.
