Have sold literally a couple pallets worth of expired film I acquired from a bankrupt photography studio/supply house. It is used for artistic purposes, generally. It tends to create unintended effects that new film does not. Sold some of it to an international award winning photographer who regularly sells his photos to Rolling Stone, Time, Life, etc.

Very interesting! Why would film have an expiration date if it doesn't really expire?

People buy old film because it will have a different look than new film, more vintage effect.
