When faced with calamities:

1. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un- We belong to Allah, and to Him we return

When faced with affliction/pain:

2. Allahumma Ajurni Fi Musibati- Oh Allah, reward me in my affliction

Asking Allah to replace what you have lost with something better:

3. Wa Akhlif Li Khayran Minha- Yah Allah give me something better than what i have lost.

This is the only Dua that is keeping me alive, alhumdulillah for the patience ❤️

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْراً مِنْهَا

‘Innaa lillaahi wa 'innaa 'ilayhi raaji'oon, Allaahumma'-jurni fee museebatee wa 'akhliflee khayran minhaa.

“We are from Allah and unto Him we return. O Allah take me out of my plight and bring to me after it something better.”

Allahu Akbar!! I needed to hear this today. Going to learn and recite this dua often. May Allah swt give me better than I have lost, Ameen.

Subhaan Allah. I lost my husband just over a month ago! I'll make this du'a because I'm distressed and miss my husband so much!

I read the articles from Working Towards Ehsan Newsletter, by Ahmed Shaikh, and apparently there's a lot of organizations that don't use donations as intended, have huge overheads, and are not transparent. I would like to donate Qurbani to a trustworthy organization. Does anyone recommend a trustworthy organization?
