Deku’s dad really is the friends we made along the way🥹

To be honest Deku deserved to a least to stand at the pinnacle of the hero society.

don't let this distract you from the fact that bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum

Deku's real quirk: "All for What?"

The one thing that really dissapointed me is that there wasn't an interaction between adult Deku and Bakugo, that is some huge wasted potential in my opinion.

This is how I disappointed the fandom by not flipping burgers-izuku midoria

Ngl they hyped up Deku as the Greatest Hero wayyyy to much for it to end like that

I agree with what you said about being the greatest hero, it went from "I" to "Everybody" which was abit lack luster. I know hes humble but it also feels like he was never truly recognised for what he did and all of what he had endured. The kid cleaned the streets by himself when everybody quit, got shit on by the people he wanted to protect, basically had 1 days sleep then went to war, almost died like 10 times, sacrificed his dream and not a thank you was given.

Horikoshi was so scared of the internet shippers finding him that he wouldn't even imply that Deku and Uraraka dated 😂

Many writers just don't know how to properly end their stories. i see a lot of these in recent animes and manga.

Deku changed the future and ended a cycle lasting 100s of years, pretty sure that makes him the greatest Hero.

the mha fandom is going wild bc of the ending 💀

This is the most unsatisfying conclusion I have seen for an MC for a long time

I have this feeling that this ending wasn't what Horikoshi had intended originally, but given the toxic feedback from the fans and the death threats he received he decided to rush the ending and leave it ambiguous for the fans. But I could be wrong though.

I feel like there wasn’t enough recognition towards Deku from society even with his amazing accomplishments and honestly it felt like he was just straight up forgotten in the 8 years. He also still could have done hero work in that time too as there has been good feats with him not using his quirk and him in S1 acknowledging the fact that Aizawa’s main fighting style was not utilizing a quirk. Then as a quirkless hero he can speak up about societal problems and inspire quirkless and/or under valued people to chase their dreams. Then there wasn’t enough about the lives of the adult Class A students. Overall solid ending but also a lot of unresolved topics and didn’t fulfill the good quality narrative ending it could of been

As they say, his father went to find the one piece

Yeah this epilogue would've definitely benefited from being longer. Like for instance, we should've gotten a chapter thats dedicated to Deku's final moments with OFA, and we could've gotten an emotional moment where the last bit of the embers leaves him, and maybe in this same chapter he could've gotten a large statue the size of All Might's.
Maybe a chapter where we can see each of the 1-A student's adult lives in more detail and how their interactions are many years later🤷‍♂️ Cuz Twitter is stuck on the thought that they abandoned Deku for 8 whole years 😂
