Dead Pixel Test

A simple dead pixel test/fix. A video response to my 3+ year old test. In 1920 x 1080 resolution. 16:9 aspect ratio.

Dude, thank you so much for making this video. I had a row of green pixels across my laptop screen and I was about to pay a computer repair store 150 dollars to put in a new screen! After about 5 minutes, my eyes got quite sore, so I look away, and when I look back, the screen is fine!

Thank You! i change an LG 34GN850 with 10 stuck pixel, and i got a new one, so far this one has 0 issues, i will see after 2 weeks.

thats usually damage (not always) as a result of age or extreme vibration (like a drop) that makes the connectors at the base of the screen loose, causing lines to flash. This is usually not repairable. Dead pixels are just a very, very, very small dot or color that wont go away/wont light up. hope this helps
