But if the parent insists their child absolutely DID NOT run away they will send out search party teams

Actually in a lot of countries, you must wait 24 hours before reporting someone missing. Usually because some kids run away for like an hour or so. Or sometimes they’re shopping. So, in some countries you must wait 24 hours before filing a missing police report.
