There still is a huge issue with distribution. There’s some random streamers (not actual stores) who are somehow getting hundreds or even thousands of ETBs, while legit stores are getting tiny percentage of their requested allocations. Printing more is great and will help some but if the root cause isn’t addressed I fear that the scalpers will simply continue to just get more.

I’m glad pokemon listened to their fans but most of all the ones that actually play the game competitively… many players couldn’t get their hands on it at all and there was alot of useful cards for them in this particular set..

Yeah yeah yeah I'll believe it when I see it. Announcing a reprint before the official set is even released is wild... they should have seen this 2 months ago when their pre release was being sold out in minutes...

Good information, but prismatic prices are definitely not going to collapse. Maybe it will be a little bit cheaper. Pokemon has been saying that they do “print by demand” for years now and then they come with 1/2 waves which we don’t even now how big it is. Mew 151 had the same problem but with even less demand and had no set to be really exited about after or before that and they couldn’t keep up with that already. Prismatic has surging sparks before ad battle journey and glory of team rocket after it (every body talks about team rocket too). which HUGE demand already. Pokemon has a schedule to keep so they won’t keep up to meet the full demand of these set. Wouldn’t be too happy about it because we’ve also seen a message like that 4 times already with many people still not being able to get stuff at mrsp.

I’ve been laughed at and ridiculed because I said that prismatic will be reprinted and not to pay over MSRP. So many people think they know the hobby with 2 months of experience. I’ve been collecting since base set 1st ed. I might have learned a thing or two about the pokemon TCG market but who knows. I hope everyone overpaying burns themselves. Therefore not being able to blame anyone but themselves.
