The mixing! 7 minutes in I have a tiny piano in my right ear. It lives there now. It is happy.

Découvert dans la saison 8 de Homeland, après Miles Davis, c'est plutôt excellent !

Just discovered this song after reading about Kamasi on Rolling Stone.  This is reminiscent of Jaco's fusion with Weather Report.  How refreshing to hear this in 2015!!!

Hotep Brother Kamasi Washington that was sensational I just got a taste of that Spirituality of the God's Music. Simply a Revelation experience. If Coltrane and Monk are watching you perform they would be all smile and giving their self's high five . That's the magnitude and input that you enlightening me with tonight Brother you made me a Fan and you deserve to be mention and stand side by side with Coltrane and Monk 2 Troubadours what a Blessing. So Hotep and Blessing unto you.

This is the only time where I wanted an album to continue, and it is the longest album I’ve ever listened to.

I am grateful that my close friend turned me on to this wonderful musician.  All I can say is Wow!....well, I could say more than that but it would take time away from me listening to this song.  ;-)

Fantastic way to end the album! Two drummers, percussion/conga player, excellent bass line by Thundercat and another mind blowing sax solo by Washington to close out the album. This is awesome compared to the cookie cutter crap out there!
