Aw :( this made me miss my sister's pom, Bella. She had to be put down because of complications from her collapsed trachea, and I haven't stopped missing her since. Sometimes we'll still find her long blond hair around the house, weaved through our chunky knit clothes and jackets, and we'll start missing her all over again. This made me think of my mom’s friend’s Chiweenie (Chihuahua and Daschund), who had a collapsing trachea. She lived a long life, and her trachea started collapsing when she got older. She had the goose honk cough too. She was a very sweet dog, unfortunately, she passed away a little over a year ago. Rest in piece, Maggie. 💔
