Booting up my dual Pentium III PC into BeOS 5.0.2 Pro. After I did the video, I upgraded to 5.0.3 and installed Bone 7a. Showing off a few applications and messing about a bit. Recorded on my iPhone 4 while my BeMachine was connected to my 15" Apple Studio Display (Blue and white) Another video to follow shortly!

Dual Pentium III Processors running at 1,000MHz (1GHz)
512MB RAM
40GB Maxtor DiamondMax HDD (IDE)
Ricoh MP9060A CD-RW/DVD ROM Drive (IDE)
8MB ATI Rage Pro Turbo graphics card (AGP)
Sound Blaster 128 PCI Sound Card (PCI)
3Com 3C905B Etherlink XL NIC (PCI)

All hardware incl. DVDROM/CDRW are all natively supported by BeOS

The motherboard supports 2GB RAM. And I wouldn't put Vista on it!! The over head compared to XP is massive.

Windows 7 Starter would be fine on it, but again, I wouldn't touch Vista with a barge pole. But the video isn't about Windows, its about BeOS

Awesome pc bro, what's the maximum ram capacity for this motherboard?
funny as it is, i believe this machine could run windows vista, 512mb is enough to install it, if you used the most basic 32 bit version. Also, vista takes full advantage of parallel processing, so it would put both the cpu's to work for it's core functions. The wild card (no pun intended) is that ATi rage video card

I don't play 3D games and its only going to be used for playing with, so the graphics card and size of the hard drive is fine

Hows the drivers on BeOS. i have a eMachines with 1 533MHz processor and 256 ram. i wood buy a disk and put it on there if you think it wood work
