How to tightline your eyes w/ NO transfer

Hey hey peeps. I wanted to share how I prevent my tightline eyeliner from transfering to my lower waterline. It definitely helps to have the right eyeliner but I got say, it's all in HOW you apply it. Hope this helps! ❤️

For contact lens wearers - another reason not to line on your waterline is that the eyeliner will directly transfer as a giant blurry path on your lenses at some point and you won't be able to get it off 😂 I learned this lesson the hard way 🥲 At the root of your lashes as she shows here is truly the way!

Tightlining is a godsend makeup technique for people with hooded or droopy eyes. I use Sephora 12h colorful eye pencil to tightline and it stays all day. Once it sets, it doesn't smudge as well. And it's really cheap even without a sale.

Great tip!! Before I tight line I use a cotton swab and dry the tight line then add liner. It stays so much longer

Alex... Shiseido has this liner with the absolute tiniest little tip. Like smaller than the little brow pencils. It's so super creamy and absolutely budge proof! You might check it out...

Tightlining is a super power! Especially for hooded eyes, it was such a game changer for me! in India we always use Kajal/Kohl pencil, highly recommend them!

My favorite waterproof drugstore liner is Wet N Wild “breakup proof.” The one in the packaging where it’s a self sharpening and you twist it up.
Don’t confuse it with the liquid!! It BURNS

Alex, this video completely changed how I tightline. The GXVE eyeliner is amazing. I tried Clinique's and Urban Decay's tightlining pencils. Both flake horribly. You are the best!

👏🏻 I would love to see a video on how you get waterline eyeliner to stay put. I have never mastered this technique, or found products that don’t fade, or smear.

The only eye pencil that I have found I can tight-line with without transfer (and without going over it with eyeshadow in hopes it would stay longer) is the Il Makiage long-wear intense pigment waterproof eye pencil ($22). Tight-lined with it one day and realized it had not smudged AT ALL to my waterline or bottom lashes and thought maybe it was a fluke. So I tested it out again, for a full day and a full evening out dancing and sure enough, it did not budge or transfer to my waterline. Creamy texture, intense color and long-lasting! Definitely recommend that one!💛
