Hope they figure out what the unusual ablation problems on the heatshield… could be a show-stopper/big delay🤔for Artemis 2

I would absolutely love to see them take the SATURN V out of its museum and launch their new capsule and lander ! I know this wouldn't ever happen but it would be cool to see a SATURN V lift off one more time

What happened to tried and tested method, ok I remember the first landing in 69, and the few times after, what you know just make it bigger, and with new materials lighter, So regarding all that I can't see it happening in the next ten years from now.

Goods news to humanity! There exists multiple caves and craters on Lunar surface, containing minerals and liquid water/ ice sheets. Now humanity to take shelter in it and establish a permanent base on Lunar surface within next decade. These caves and big craters could be used as shelters initially, to protect from gravities, radiations and temperature fluctuations there on lunar surface.

Thanks for a fine film. Why is there no US stamp, US coin, or US currency with either the name or face of Neil Armstrong on it? Stop the snub! Honor Neil as the hero he is.

Can’t even figure out how to get out of low earth orbit…but yet we went to the moon in the 60’s🤡

Just imagine what could be done if all of this money and manpower to improve the human race, the animal/ plant life and most importantly- our ocean life ?? What if humanity put aside the politics.... what if ??

Interesting this is...but, what if ?

I'm getting a kick out of some of these YouTube channels with titles like, "Why the U.S. is Struggling to Return to the Moon" @ Real Engineering; "Why is it so hard to return to the Moon?" @ Paul M. Sutter; "The Last Moon Landing: Why Did We Stop Going to the Moon?" @ Spark; etc. They're really scratching their heads. Yup, a real conundrum. Then we have a slew of "We're going Back!" channels, all with science fiction scripts of how we are going to have a massive satellite network around the Moon and refuel rockets in space and have them all lined up and reconnect with space stations and have trans Lunar networks; and then we have the Star Trek fantasies about colonizing Mars. It's all insane, it's a child's game for grown ups. By the time 2030 rolls around and NASA still hasn't "returned to the Moon" and all of their fantasy plans have fallen apart, along with China's fantasy plan to land men on the Moon by 2029 falling apart in flames, people will finally begin to wake up to the truth. Until then we have these crazy zealots living in their fantasy world thinking that we will be sending people to the Moon and setting up Moon bases and Spiderman and the Hulk are real people too. Stan Lee couldn't have written a better script. Jesus Christ is Lord.

I would say it's about 50/50 that space x ends up going to the moon without any nasa equipment.

back in 1968 Apollo 8 went to the moon and orbited so Artemis 2 is only a copy of what we did long ago.

SO inefficient, especially given all of the contracts. I feel badly for NASA, because their way of thinking is in some ways obsolete as well as prohibitively costly.

Fantastic video (except for the irritating "nervous" background music).

I really really hope they aren't gonna take more than 10 years to get this first crew back on the moon when we did it for the first time in less than a decade and then to top it off they were flying missions very quickly to the moon and back . Like Nike says DO IT !
