literally just watched the review of the previous M5 by Clarkson in which he went through all the 'subtle' differences here, between the standard 5 series and the M model, and stated how 'obvious' they were....

I own bmw M5 F10, great car, but I find bmw M5 e60 got better exhaust sound, what a new bmw doesn't have unfortunately...

Jeremy were you pissed when you wrote this "piffle", the old v10 had a better sound track than "Won't get fooled again" by The Who, and that takes a bit of beating. The E60 M5 has the presence of Brian Blessed, you always know when he sounds off. Sorry Jezza, the thin thatch and expanding waistline are not all the twilight years are bringing, it would appear. Revisit Top Gears video of the E60 for your penance

E60 is definitely better than this... this 4.4 has weak exhaust note.
