What the British and the French elections showed is that, firstly, the people are perfectly capable of understanding the stakes of elections. Even though, I am uncertain that the American people are. Secondly, it shows that the polling companies wildly overestimated the support for right-wing authoritarians. Just like the US polling companies wildly overestimated the popularity of MAGA during the 2022 midterms. And I also believe that the same phenomenon is occuring with the 2024 election right now. Donald Trump lost a solid 15% of Republican primary voters, but somehow he's on track to win the presidency in a landslide. I don't buy it at all! Everyone should forget about the polls, and go out and vote blue up and down the ticket 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵.

The people of France and the UK voted against the rise of fascism. Something that _should_ have been talked about in this segment and how the people of the US should do the same. Because our institutions are falling to fascism quickly.

I am a French voter and we were very clear about one thing: protecting the republian value "égalité, laïcité, fraternité ".. unlike the Americans, who do not seem to get what is at stake.. listen to Alyssa and Sarah, they have no clue... they still do not know whether to choose a person who protects democratic institutions
/values or one who destroys.. that is the difference between American and French voters..
