Easily the most underrated (and one of the most dominant) athletes of all time. While he is still idolized to some degree in the skateboarding world, I feel people don't realize his immense contribution to the sport. I don't believe there has ever been an athlete as incredibly influential in their respective sports and I doubt that there ever will be.

I'm 42 now and started skating since I was 10 in 1983. Rodney your awesome and so are all the bones brigade guys...you guys have no idea how us older skaters appreciate you!

So frikin I first found out about Rodney in THPS3 when I was 10 years old, I'm 24 now and I'm still mesmerized by every little thing he does and still can't name any of the tricks he does if my life depended on it. He truly is like the Einstein of skateboarding. They'll never be another Rodney EVER. He's in his late 40's now, he's got about a decade or so to invent any more tricks before his body slows him down. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he was still doing these tricks at age 70. His incredible health and athletic ability combined with the strength of his feet and legs would probably make his 70 year old body function like a 40 year old.

 I don't think any athlete has ever impressed me as much or made me say "what the hell, how the fuck did he do that!" like Rodney Mullen does.

After all these years he still seems like a kid at heart, which is a good thing! He genuinely loves skating and keeps it fun. A lot of respect for this dude!

Truly inspiring.  Every time Rodney opens his mouth or steps on a board, I stop everything I'm doing to look and listen.  I just hope he puts out more videos of him skating, because I'll never stop watching
