British citizens living abroad set to reclaim right to vote in UK elections

The UK government has vowed to scrap a law that bans British citizens - who have lived abroad for more than 15 years - from taking part in UK elections.

So people who don't live in this country any more, don't pay any tax into the country and are not effected by the outcome of a vote want the right to vote? I say no to that. If you want a right to vote you should move back to the UK and live here. Why should someone in another part of the world get to decide how the country is run when it doesn't even effect them personally?

That should also apply to N. Ireland citizens, so so many left because of the troubles and lack of opportunity's due to sectarianism. It would be amazing to vote in the upcoming border poll when it is called.

For citizens!In the European Union, in the governments of the country should be work the best of professionals, elected by an independent international group of specialists, and not managers, they should be elected every 3-4 years. These are engineers, historians, lawyers, scientists.. The gender of a person does not matter, only his professionalism is important.Then th European Union, European contrys will work for citizens.
