That rumble botch made it better. And it did make it real. Plus they didn't have to use crazy camera tricks to make sure they dont show their feet incase they had a clear winner. Since it was a botch it really was real and I could not believe they landed at the exact same time

It's insane how they both landed on the floor at the same time. I remember the replays of them trying to put Batista over, but they just couldn't because of how perfectly timed them both landing on the outside.

Massive props for the team of referees who were quick to go into dispute amongst themselves to elevate the drama, as well as Cena and Batista of course but the refs took the lead in the midst of the confusion.

Finish honestly made that Rumble Iconic. the start of 2005 the year as a whole was amazing. Mania 21 was Cena and Batista becoming World Champions for the first time and it was the kick off to the second half of the Ruthless Aggression Era. It heralded some of my favourites taking that long road home but it also was a time in which a lot of the Current legends in wrestling were made. Good times.

I remember watching it on TV and was greatly amazed, it also set the path for both stars, and being eliminated at the same time gave them equal ground for the fans, I then saw them as equals but on different brands, it kinda respected either brand by letting the upcoming star have a "winner" credibility. They both did become champions at Mania.
