Im not a fan of wrestling anymore but moments like this are will always be memorable and fun to watch. Its difficult to tell who technically got eliminated first, but it was damn close. Even through all of this legit confuision, continued to sell the story!!! the raw refs lifting their guys hand, and the smackdown refs doing the same for their guy!!! I swear, this is why I thought this was a work at first, watching this at home 20 years ago.

Being able to improvise on the fly with this much pressure is insane. Im sure Vince & the gang were scrambling like crazy, & someone was able to tell the refs through the ear piece to stage that show incredibly well. Kudos to Cena for quickly realizing Batista was about to hit, so he hurried to get his feet down to make it almost exactly at the same time. Much cleaner than the Rock & Big Show in 2000.

Fun fact vince was actually furious, the anger here is real but then at 4:35 he starts realizing that this might be the best botch of all time because Batista and Cena were so over with the crowd that the pop was massive

I remember buying the royal rumble 2005 DVD as a kid growing up and binge watch the rumble countless of times . Truly one of the best royal rumbles in wrestling
