2 weeks after we got engaged - my partner's sister's boyfriend (of only a few months)! told my partner's niece that she could be the flower girl. We had discussed not having children there so I told him he best tell her that she's not even invited! I was furious.

Also, some family and friends didn't get us a card as they said they would only give us one at our engagement party - which we never even said we wanted!

Oh - and! I went wedding dress shopping and had an awful experience with some family members and my partner's sister knew about this - but still continued to ask and pester me to come along next time. She also said that I shouldn't have certain "tacky" decor at my hen do.

Before we even gave save the dates or set a venue - my grandparents told me they wouldn't come as it was too far away?!

Safe to say I've been very firm and set expectations when planning haha x

My favorite from mine 3 months ago was from an ex boyfriend: "where's my and my wife's invitation? I know I left you for her but I want you to meet her and we want to see you get married. It's a shame, had I not met her I'd have married you". I didn't even respond and blocked both him and her on everything.

i get married in 12 days. ive got a colleague whos told me hes booked time off work and bought a suit... he hasnt even been invited. just assumed it would be ok.

My best friend was on a wedding a week ago when the groom's mum was dressed in a white, long exactly bridal looking dress! She looked like a bride!

My Dog did carry the rings at my friend’s wedding, once that had been established my friend moved on to the far less important matter is asking me to be a bride’s maid. I must add that the dog was my then Guide Dog. He had a ribbon collar to match my dress and carried the rings in a little drawstring bag round his neck. We both looked amazing. At my own wedding the priest was delighted when I told him that we were expecting 7 Guide Dogs. I knew he had two Golden retrievers, so I said he was very welcome to bring them to. I know this is very different as they were Guide Dogs, and of course not everyone wants animals at their Wedding.

Why can't you just get married round the corner because we choose to get married in the lake district think was stupidest one . then when we sent the save the date so one assumed they were invited even though their name was on the evenlope. I have people requesting where they want to sit when I have spent hours trying make sure everyone is with people they know and they won't be any arguing .To then have someone say there kids need to be either side of there mum even though they were next her I hadden put them a different for them say will its different there kids right ok but they are next to her 🙈
