If you still on Windows 10, just press Win+Alt+R and it will record with Xbox bar with audio.

What about windows + shift + s to directly open the snipping tool and don’t need to type in a search bar?

Not sure I'll use the video record function, but Windows + Q shortcut tip is the most useful takeway for me. Didn't know that one!

I found out this feature about a month ago when the top left-hand corner of the Snipping Tool changed. I literally had a keen eye but I don't think everyone knew about this, it's god you shared it!

People don’t know about it yet because it’s brand new. We used to use game bar for screen recording

Thanks for this. I have 4 monitors(old school) and handy when recording 1 monitor only

Win+Shift+S is faster to get to Snipping Tool. Note this only works on 11 as 10 has the old Snip and Sketch (that won’t be updated) and Snipping Tool on there is identical to Windows 11.

Here is a windows feature for you: press the windows key and the start menu appears where you can type anything to start a search. No need for the windows + q shortcut
