ok, so why can't we simply change cpu w/o changing ram?

Again cool. But why is Google Cloud functions so far behind the industry? Useless for me or my clients since it only supports node.js Both Amazon and Azure have multiple language support. Google functions is approaching 4 year mark since alpha. Between the less than stellar advancement of cloud functions and lackluster advancement Google's cloud overall product line, its very frustrating and it begs to question Google's long term commitment to cloud services.
