In this Video I will show you how to build a cool little binary clock.
You can also watch the second video to see, what this clock can do and how to read it.(It will go online on the weekend)

Be sure to check it out.

Here is a list with everything you need to build it yourself,
the list with purchasing links can be found in the Instructable linked above.

I love that you use 3 digits: no weird base 10 conversion necessary to read like those 2+4:3+4:3+4 clocks.
The base 10 digits also helps reading a lot. Well done.

Insipired and implemented with minimal tools. The outcome was really pleasing and rather admirable. Thanks for your time and effort sir. Also thanks for sharing and I believe that even after 2 years and lots of marketing-oriented electronics projects on the net that was genuinly an inspiring one.

Great video. I was looking for a binary clock to buy and found nothing of quality. So my wife says, "why don't you build one?" I still have no clue how to do it since I've never messed with an Arduino. Though in my previous job 20 years ago I did work with circuit boards. I remember the first time I actually had to solder was around 1 am in the morning because one of the components shorted.

Any way, you've given me great ideas for my design.

I also like that your clock is not BCD. I've always hated it. Especially when I had to deal with it in my job.

You mentioned you would include Amazon links in the video; can you provide those please. I found the eBay links difficult due to them not being English. The translation wasn't exact (i.e., ws2811 or ws2812?). Awesome project by the way. I have this project hanging on the wall as my next to-do when I find the time.

Could use a little help. The newest Arduino update will not allow the clock portion to upload. has anyone solved this? I made the entire circuit on a breadboard and no luck getting it working.
