Arduino binary clock

Показать описание
This is a simple binary clock built with an Arduino Uno. Since the Uno doesn’t have a built-in realtime clock, the time needs to be set from the PC via serial over USB. Like a normal clock, it blinks until the time is set; you can see this in the beginning of the video. I then sync the time to the current UTC time, 07:29, and then show it changing to 07:30 and finally 07:31.

The red LEDs represent the hour and the green LEDs represent the minute, with the most significant bits on the left. So:

00111 = 7
011101 = 29

...and so forth.

The clock is impressive, but is no one going to comment on how it has the ability to speed up time?!
