I was in India in 2017 and 2019. I talked to several young people i met, male and female, and they all were so jealous that i was going to Disney World. If the costs can be kept affordable for them, i think that’s a huge market for Disney.

I really hope that some of that money will go towards past projects that they announced like the Mary Poppins attraction in Epcot. Despite all the great things happening in Epcot, there are still so few rides. It would be really nice if they were more attractions there.

They take about untapped Disney affinity people who don’t visit parks…..they can’t afford to visit. They should take some of those billions of dollars to lower prices to make it more accessible to the average person.

Reopen Wonders of Life as the health and wellness pavilion, with a new thrill ride to replace Body Wars, a revamped Cranium Command with the Inside Out characters, and an updated version of Goofy About Health using the same animation style of MMRR instead of just recycling old animation.

Because assigning actual figures for this specific rides and lands would only reflect well on them, the one thing I know for sure by their recalcitrance to own their numbers is that they are not spending anywhere close to that figure. It becomes easier because they don't have a time frame to live up to and they have trained the public to get excited about things that disappear after an acceptable length of time. For one thing, they are presumably using dollar values a decade out instead of now. Said another way, the $5.5 billion spent for Shanghai at that time would have a current value of about $12B. That shrinks the actual value to about $30 billion. Since they could rebuild an entire park like Shanghai for about $12B, spreading an entire Shanghai's worth of park rides around properties around the world should cost about the same. Throw in that amount again for ALL the cruise ships (even though they picked up one for a steal!), and we still aren't even close to the $30 Billion. SO, assume that Disney chooses to withhold the critical information because the public would find the answers unsavory, whether it is because of graft or park exec bonuses or whatever. At the end of the day, even if they WERE spending anywhere within reason of that amount, it's not done for any reason than to widen the gap between the wealthy and the "poors" who used to make up their clientele.

I would like to see them make these less astronomically priced. I love some expansion but it isn't necessary. Also, return of free fast passes and hour early entry not 30 minutes

DCL makes a ton of money per person, think of it like a floating hotel with some themed areas, gift shops, and plenty of up charges.
