Steven Anderson vs The Biblical Gospel

This video refutes, with scripture, the teaching of Steven Anderson. I focus on the gospel and a biblical analysis of his teaching as well as trying to offer real clarity on the topic of homosexuality. I hope that this video helps Christians and non-Christians to better understand the biblical view of these issues. Even if we don't agree, it is good to get clarity and to show that Steven Anderson's doctrine is not biblical.

I had a friend many years ago who used to do ministry with me. She ended up falling away and became homosexual. She then got into a relationship with another female and even got engaged. It had been years since I had seen her when I heard this news so I sent her a message asking where she stood with the Lord, I lovingly and graciously reminded her of how serious sin is. She rejected what I said at the time but I just decided to keep praying for her, some others also talked with and prayed for her. 6ish months later I recieved a message from her thanking me for careing enough to talk to her and she informed me that she got out of that relationship, repented and was following the Lord now. Its been a few years since tjis happened and she is still following Christ. Yes, God can restore the homosexual. And thank God that He restores us! He truly is an amazing and merciful God.

These videos are so edifying they somehow always seem to convict me of sin - even when the topics are kind of out there or like calling out someone else. The way you present the information is truly so loving and kind and it’s a great example to me.

I am 69 years old, I responded to the Gospel when I was 19/20 can’t remember exactly, but during my long years I found that those who preached like Mr Anderson were usually hiding their own sin. They are weak individuals and hide their sin in preaching harshly, they never acknowledge their own sin..

Mike, thank you so much for refuting this angry man. It was because of Christians who never used judgment against me, they were secretly praying for my salvation. My testimony is that I left a life of homosexuality for twenty-five years. I was witnessed by caring and understanding Christians who weren't afraid to share the truth with me. The Lord convicted my heart and I decided to leave this behavior after I realized that it was wrong. I was already depressed and hooked on porn and other vile activities. Thank you for showing people like us that there is hope for salvation. Thank you for standing up for what the Bible clearly states, rather than what this angry man has said. I pray that his heart would be softened as much as mine was when I found Jesus Christ. Thank you, by the way I heard about your teachings through a pastor.

It's hilarious because one of my old co-workers is now the lead pastor of a church and his name is Stephen Anderson (Stephen with a ph instead of a v) so I was momentarily confused about how anyone I knew could have become so well known and gone off the theological deep end to such a degree that Mike Winger would make a response 😂

I just came across this video. Thank to you Mike. I recently lost my family because my oldest daughter is in an lgbt relationship. She calls it marriage snd I disagree. However, I know I am a sinners and cling to the gospel with every fiber of my being. I pray for my family because sin is sin and they have turned away from the Bible. Please pray with me for their hearts to be drawn to repentance and newbirth.
