That last shot of that Martian war machine sends shivers down my spine. The atmosphere red because of all the blood being sprayed in the air. A giant machine designed for death, the Martian pilot unfazed as it sprays the blood of innocent people. For them, it’s totally normal, just exterminating lower life forms and helping out their own species… but for us, a bloody nightmare. A horrifying fight to stay alive. It’s even more scary if it’s facing the other direction instead of looking directly at you, it shows that it is so deeply focused on what it is doing.
