Strange. Have had zero issues with my Model Y RWD on winter tires.

Bro thinks using tyres in the snow makes them winter tyres.

I think the problem is sitting between steeringwheel and drivers seat. 😂

Those are 110% summer tires you can literally see the summer tread design lol 😂

If the rear tires have no traction, why would the front ones have traction?

Use dyno mode, it helps much more than slip start in these conditions, got me out of snow a few days ago.

Sure looks like he pushed up against a snow bank in front.🙄

That's some weird looking tread pattern for winter tires lmao, you sure those aren't all seasons?

I sold my 2019 LR RWD exactly for the same reason, got stuck 3 times with winter tires- the car is absolutely great till you get stuck and then it’s still a great car.

Why didn’t you get awd if you know you need to drive in the snow.

Electric car con i guess
edit: i have come back after nearly a year. i didnt know he had summer tires. so i guess fwd and awd are the best for winter

Yeah rear wheel drive sucks on its own but if a Tesla two-wheel drive it blows that much more.. you need all wheel drive

RWD is a no no for the snow. You at least need FWD, but preferably AWD. To those who are saying this is because it’s a Tesla; this happens with all RWD cars. Tesla also makes AWD. The only people commenting are people that know nothing about Tesla’s or how drive systems work. I don’t even own a Tesla and I know what’s going on here.
