Bic Velocity and Velocity Max: Artist Reviews Pencils
Показать описание
Hey Artnerds! Last week, we talked about the Papermate Clearpoint mechanical pencil. This week, we're checkin' out the Bic Velocity AND the Bic Velocity Max- two other common US mechanical pencils. The Velocity Max has a super cushy grip, which can be great for kids with grip issues and adults with arthritis!
Other Mechanical Pencil Reviews:
Bic Gel-ocity Shownotes:
Bic Velocity:
Available as mechanical pencils and ballpoint pens- we did review the Bic Gel-ocity pens, however, if you're interested
Available in at least three body types, all listed as Bic Velocity
Available in .5mm, .7mm, .9mm
Larger grip sometimes referred to as the Bic Velocity Max
Bic Velocity Blue Lead Test
Very prone to snapping
Fairly comfortable to hold
Comparable in handling to a Pilot Color Eno or a Pilot G2
Bic Velocity HB #2 lead
Pencil feels a little loose- I can hear parts rattling as I pencil
A little less sturdily built than the G2 and the Color Eno
Grip isn't quite as grippy either
Bic Velocity Max
Blue Lead
Less prone to breakage
feels more sturdily build
Grip is very comfortable
grip leads very slight light residue in my hand- it sorta bugs me
HB #2 lead
Basically same statements as before, but when I noticed the plastic collar on the front slipping (it happens), it was a bit more difficult to quickly tighten it (this is not an issue most users are going to notice)
