I was on a plane that carried a soldier. It was one of the most emotional things I've ever experienced. No one breathed, no one dared to move. Every man on the plane removed their hats and bowed and paid respects. I can only imagine what she's feeling. Your husband is a hero and I'm very grateful for his service❤

When I worked for an airline I remember one particular flight we unloaded that hit me deep. The ONLY thing loaded in the aft was the casket of a young man who was killed during the Pearl Harbor attacks, his body had been lost at sea for 80 years. His remains were recovered and he received a full color guard to unload him off the plane… talk about the weight of that man’s sacrifice as I carefully handled his casket down the beltloader. RIP
